The New Year is here! For some, this time offers a fresh start for a new hobby or habit. For the resolution-minded patron, our library programs and services can offer help you get started and stay committed!

Ward off Stress with Chair Yoga



Start the year on a meditative note with a gentle yoga practice. Chair Yoga is suitable for all levels and abilities. The practice can increase one's strength, balance, and flexibility. Chair Yoga meets biweekly on Saturdays at 10:30am. Like all our programs, this program is free! Register at the library or give us a call to reserve your spot!



Get Tech Savvy

Maybe you received a new piece of technology over the holidays, or maybe you're looking to hone your computer skills to go for a new job. Whatever your technology goal, our library staff can point you in the right direction and even offer free one-on-one appointments to give you specialized attention to your technology goals!


Stay Yes to Real News

Steer clear of Fake News by getting your news at the library. From global to local, we have newspapers and databases to help you locate reliable information.


Pick up a new hobby 

Is this the year you take up needlepoint or photography? Or try a musical instrument? How about cooking a vegetarian dish once a week? Find materials to get you started on your next creative endeavor at the library!


Get Your Puzzle On At Scrabble Club

Our friendly Scrabble group meets biweekly on Thursdays from 2-4pm. Anyone is welcome to join them, whether you're a novice or an expert! Give your brain a workout and make new friends in the process!




Set a Reading Resolution

Set a unique Reading Resolution that will work for you! Maybe you want to read for pleasure for twenty minutes a day. Maybe it's time to download Hoopla or Libby apps to read or listen on your commute. Maybe you want to read more books by international authors. Whatever your Reading Resolution, we can help you get there with the right materials!





Just For Kids:

Stay for Storytime!

Is your child ages 2-5? Are they learning how to read and how to interact with other kids? Join in the fun and learning of Storytime, Wednesdays at 10:30am! Stories, rhymes, and crafts offer opportunities for listening, cooperating, language comprehension, and being creative!




Meet Your Maker! 

For kids in grades K-5, there's STEM Club, a weekly makerspace where young makers can learn coding, building, math skills, and more! STEM Club takes place on Tuesdays at 4pm, and kids are welcome to join in any time of the year.
